Massage Therapy
Therapeutic massage is a hands-on therapy of the body. It involves manipulating soft tissue structures to alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasms, and stress.
With me, treatments involve working on both compensation areas as well as the cause of the injury. Pain is often referred from the primary trauma to other parts of the body – I call these the compensation areas or the parts of the body that are doing more to help alleviate the primary problem.
The effects of massage mainly involve the muscular skeletal system but can benefit all the systems of the body. A thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology is essential to ensure that no harm is done and that your pet benefits from their treatment.
